Siaha; the 28th April,2022: Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) or the 75th Years of Indian Independence Day of India celebration was held at MADC's Forest Hall, in tune with and as a part of nationwide celebration, here at Siaha, today.

Pu Donny Lalruatsanga Addl.DC presided over the programme and Pu Lalsangliana, Deputy Commissioner benignly graced the Function as Chief Guest and Distributed Prizes of various competitions viz: Videography, Quiz and Flower Show which were conducted to mark AKAM Celebration.

Speaking on the occasion,Pu Sangliana wished that our AKAM celebration reminded us of our duties and responsibilities towards our Nation, and impelled us
to introspect ourselves as well, to be good and self sufficient citizens.

Winners of various competitions were furnished below:
Videography competition
1st Prize:Siaha Vaihpi MTP Branch
2nd Prize:Meisatla YMA Branch
3rd Prize:Meisavaih 'W' MTP Branch

Quiz Competition

1st Prize: Richard Beichhisa Syuhlo, VI Sem, (Pol. Science)
2nd Prize : M.Dawngia, VI Sem, (Education)
3rd Prize: Lalmuanpuia Colney, VI Sem, (Mizo)

Flower Show Competition
1st Prize---K.Mary,College Vaih
2nd Prize---K.Elisianmawii,New Siaha
3rd Prize---Nanu Hlychho,Siaha Vaihpi

1st Prize--- comprised of Certificate and incentive cash prize of Rs.3000/-
2nd Prize--- Certificate +Rs.2000/-
3rd Prize-- Certificate + Rs.1000/- for Quiz & Flower Show Competition.
However, in Videography competition, 1st prize consist of Certificate and Rs.5000/-, 2nd Prize consist of Certificate and Rd.3500/- and 3rd Prize Consist of Certificate and Rs.2500/-.
