Dated Serchhip, the 2nd December, 2020: Baptist Church of Mizoram, Khawnglung Local Church, Bungtlang Village donate a sum of rupees 20,000 to Mr. Kumar Abhishek, IAS, DC, Serchhip for the expense of the needy patients admitted in Serchhip Covid Care Centre.

The gift is handed over by Rev. F Zorinkhuma, Bungtlang Sectional Pastor  accompanied by Elder Biakchhawna and Elder CC Lalsanga, Chairman and Secretary of the church respectively. Rev F. Zorinkhuma said that among his three sectional churches Rawpui local have already donated for the same in Lunglei district and Bungtlang local have also did to Serchhip, and now for the third Khawnglung local Church to Serchhip Covid Care Centre. He also said that it is given out of their Relief head of church account. In Khawnglung BCM local church there are 65 family with around 335 members presently.

Mr Kumar Abhishek expressed his sincere gratitude to the church member for their valuable gift and said that it would be helpful for the needy patient in the CCC.
