Mamit 12th March, 2021 : As a part of commemoration of 75 years of Independence, the Government of India is celebrating “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” in the year 2021. National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) is requesting each State to launch “Bharat ka Amrut Mahotsav” and to conduct at least five legal awareness programme on 12.3.2021. Mamit District being selected by Mizoram State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) among the five selected Districts. Today, the programme was held under the auspices of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Mamit at Govt. Mamit High School.

The Resource Person Mr. Laldinpuia Tlau, Secretary, DLSA, Mamit who is also the CJM delivered a speech on various legal issues which are relevant for students of the High School. The questions from the students were answered by the Resource Person and Ms. H. Lalruatfeli, Advocate, who is the alumnus of the school.

The programme was chaired by Mr. Hmartawnluaia Vaiphei, Headmaster. Around 78 students attended the programme.
