Dated Aizawl: the 06 December 2024: Branch Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Office, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, Aizawl organized a One-Day Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) at the Conference Hall of Divine Skill Training Centre, Dawrpui, Aizawl on 06.12.2024, in which participants of different age groups, Students, Prospective Entrepreneurs etc. participated.

This program was organized under the Entrepreneurship cum Skill Development Scheme of Ministry of MSME, Government of India with the objective to create awareness among entrepreneurs / prospective entrepreneurs / students about the importance of entrepreneurship, processes, various government schemes in this regard and financial assistance and various processes available to promote Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in the state of Mizoram.

The programme was attended by Shri Vinayak Navghare, AGM, SIDBI, Aizawl , Shri Lalhmangaiha Hnamte, Director, Divine Skill Training Centre, Dawrpui, Aizawl, Shri Christopher Lalbiaknia, Consultant from Department of Commerce & Industries, Representative, Laghu Udyog Bharti, Mizoram Chapter, Faculty Members etc.

This program was presided over by Shri Samrat M. Jha, IEDS, Assistant Director Gr-I of this office. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the guests. Shri Samrat M. Jha, IEDS, Assistant Director Gr-I delivered detailed information about the program objective, information about the importance of entrepreneurship, processes, various government schemes in this regard. The program was formally concluded with a vote of thanks.

More than 60 participants participated in the program today, All the guests addressed and encouraged the participants to move forward in the field of entrepreneurship and gave proper guidance from their experiences.

Shri Lalhmangaiha Hnamte, Director, Divine Skill Training Centre, Dawrpui, Aizawl in his speech addressed the participants and expressed his gratitude & happiness for organizing this programme for better future of Students towards Entrepreneurship. He motivated all participating Students by citing different examples of Entrepreneurship.

Shri Christopher Lalbiaknia, Consultant from Department of Commerce & Industries, Aizawl gave detailed information about the Central and State Government assistance for setting up of an Enterprise/Industries.  Shri Vinayak Navghare , AGM, SIDBI, Aizawl explained about financial assistance given by banks and various schemes run by the Small Industries Development Bank of India(SIDBI) & the role of Bank.

In the program, Mr. Samrat Jha showed the video presentation sent by MSME Ministry, New Delhi to the entrepreneurs and shared all kinds of information and gave information about various schemes of Ministry of MSME, Government of India like My MSME, Udyam Registration, etc.
