Aizawl the 13th October, 2021: A 10-day course of cake baking training for returned migrant workers due to COVID-19 for Lawngtlai District, jointly organised by Mizoram Youth Commission (MYC), Medhavi Foundation and District Skill Committee, Lawngtlai commenced today at YLA Hall, AOC Veng, Lawngtlai.

Deputy Commissioner Lawngtlai Dr Andrew H. Vanlaldika inaugurated the training and addressed the trainees in a short function organised under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Lawngtlai Pu James Miahlung. Pi Marilyn Rualzakhumthangi, Project Director, DRDA Lawngtlai delivered a welcome speech and Pu C. Dokulha, Functional Manager, District Industries Centre gave a brief report.

Twenty (20) numbers of migrant workers were selected for the training. Training will be imparted by Medhavi Foundation.
