Dated Champhai, 17th June 2026: Amidst the ongoing Special Intensive Revision, all assembly constituencies under Champhai District i.e 23-Champhai North, 24-Champhai South and 25-East Tuipui completed digitization of Enumeration Forms tonight at 8pm.

There are 58,846 voters within Champhai District, with 22,443 voters coming from 24-Champhai South as the constituency with the most voters, followed by 20,435 voters from 23-Champhai North and 15,968 voters from 25-East Tuipui. 21,412 Enumeration Forms were collected from 24-Champhai South, which is 95.41% of Enumeration Forms distributed, with the remaining 1,041 (4.59%) marked as uncollectible as they were ASDD (absent, shifting, death or duplicate). 19,572 Enumeration Forms (95.78%) were collected from 23-Champhai North, and the remaining 853 (4.22%) were marked uncollectible. 15,466 Enumeration Forms (96.86%) were collected from 25-East Tuipui, and the remaining 502 (3.14%) were marked uncollectible. In total, 56,450 Enumeration Forms (95.93%) were collected within Champhai District, and 2,396 (4.07%) were marked uncollectible.

The District Election Officer expressed his gratitude at the timely and efficient completion of digitization of Enumeration Forms, and extended the same to the Dy. DEO, EO, EROs, AEROs, BLO Supervisors, BLOs, Addl. BLOs, NGOs, political parties, the press and influencers for their hard work and dedication. The DEO also asked for the people's cooperation for the remaining phases of SIR.

The Enumeration Phase started on May 30th and is expected to end on June 28th, and rationalization will also take place for polling stations with more than 1,200 voters. The Draft Electoral Roll will be released on July 4th, and the time for hearing of complaints and appeals will be from July 4th - August 4th. These complaints and appeals will be reviewed and dealt with till September 2nd, and the Final Electoral Roll will be released on September 6th.
