In particular, he praised the exemplary work being carried out by the Sub-Headquarters MHIP in Serchhip District under the Swadhar Greh scheme, as well as their involvement in the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao programme.
He recalled that in recognition of MHIP’s outstanding work, the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, conferred the Nari Shakti Puruskar on MHIP in 2016. Let us strive to build strong families and raise children who will contribute positively to the future of our nation," he said.
