CHIEF MINISTER PU LAL THANHAWLA FELICITATES NATIONAL BRAVERY AWARD WINNERS

Chief Minister Mr. Lal Thanhawla today felicitated Lalrammawia (14 years) s/o Khualkamlova and Zonunsanga(14 years) s/o Vanlalrenga winners of the National Bravery Award 2010 at a function in his Official Residence. The function was chaired by Mr. PC Lalthanliana, Minister of State, Social Welfare Department who is also the President, Mizoram State Council for Child Welfare.

Congratulating the winners, the Chief Minister said that the actions of two brave children - saving lives, was highly commendable and they indeed deserved the National Bravery Award. The children have set an example for other youngsters to emulate, and can be role models for young people he added. Mrs. Lal Riliani, wife of the Chief Minster handed over the Citation and and a cash award of Rs. 25,000/- to both of the awardees.
