Aizawl, the 5th August 2020: In a rare occurance unique event where two of the state heads of the same state share joint hands on literature Shri Zoramthanga, Chief Minister will be inaugurating a series of releases on books and poems written by Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai on 8th August, this week at Raj Bhavan.

Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai is preparing to release 13 books which he has written during the COVID-19 Pandemic. These books include poetry and essays in English and Malayalam, history, personalities, courtroom jokes, memories, and legal articles.

The function will be held at Raj Bhavan, Aizawl on 8th August 2020. In this programme Mizoram Chief Minister Shri Zoramthanga is expected to inaugurate the upcoming release functions of these 13 books, which are scheduled to be released through a series of programmes in the coming months, starting with the function at Raj Bhavan on 8th August 2020. The Chief Minister will also release a collection of poems authored by Hon’ble Governor, titled ‘CORONA KAVITHAKAL’.

At the same function, Hon’ble Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court Shri Ajai Lamba will release two Raj Bhavan publications, ‘Republic Day 2020’ and ‘Thus Speaks the Governor’.

Former Mizoram Chief Minister Shri Lal Thanhawla will also be delivering a speech at the function.

The upcoming 13 books which are scheduled for release include books on a variety of topics, such as a collection of Hon’ble Governor’s poems in English titled ‘Oh, Mizoram’, and a book on the different religious bodies in Mizoram and Kerala called ‘Justice to All, Prejudice to None’.
