Siaha, 26 January 2025: The COB Siaha of 20 Assam Rifles celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great fervor and enthusiasm at Siaha District, reaffirming its dedication to national pride, community service and fostering unity.

The event commenced with the ceremonial unfurling of the National Flag by Deputy Commissioner, Siaha District at SDFA ground Meisatla, symbolizing the spirit of patriotism. A weapons display was organized, offering locals, particularly students, an opportunity to witness the capabilities of the security forces and understand their role in safeguarding the nation. Additionally, a First Aid Medical Help Desk was set up at the SDFA Ground, during the parade to provide medical assistance as needed.

To celebrate the occasion, sweets were distributed among the local population, fostering a sense of unity, goodwill, and festivity. The celebration saw enthusiastic participation from students of various schools and the local community, further strengthening the bond between the Assam Rifles and the people of Siaha.
