Commemoration of International Labour's Day by Assam Rifles

No.46/2020-2021

In order to commemorate the International Labour's Day on 01 May 2020, the Aizawl Battalion under the aegis of 23 Sect, Assam Rifles / IGAR (East) carried out some welfare activities for the workers in the area. Hot meals alongwith clean drinking water and ration were provided to the workers employed in various locations to include Aizawl, Mimbung, Ngopa, New Vaikhawtlang, Kawlbem and Hnahlan.

The gesture of the Assam Rifles was highly appreciated by the workers and the local populace and expressed their gratitude to the Assam Rifles for all the assistance during these difficult times.
