Aizawl, the 22^nd October 2020 : A consultation was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Pu Lalnunmawia Chuaungo today at SAD Conference Hall, MINECO to discuss the modalities of various measures to be enforced during the two week Covid-19 No Tolerance Fortnight which will be implemented from 26^th October. Dr. ZR Thiamsanga, MLA and Chairman, COVID-19 Medical Operational Team   and Additional Chief Secretary Pu JC Ramthanga also attended the meeting.

The meeting reiterated that there would be zero tolerance for flouting any COVID-19 containment measures being implemented and enforced by the government such as Unlock Guidelines, all SOPs and all sections of the Mizoram Containment and Prevention of COVID-19 Ordinance, 2020. The meeting discussed at length the Action Plan put up for implementation of the Fortnight and deliberated on various suggestions and concerns voiced by the attendees. During the Fortnight various activities under the Jan Andolan Campaign would also be concurrently held and intensified, the meeting decided.
