Aizawl, 23^rd October 2020 : The Disaster Management & Rehabilitation Department has issued a circular as below :

It is hereby informed to all concerned that the meeting held on 22^nd October, 2020 under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, Government of Mizoram has decided to strictly enforce Covid-19 related restriction and preventive measures in the upcoming 'Covid-19: No Tolerance Fortnight' to be observed from 26th October — 9^th November, 2020 as a component of the Jan Andolan COVID-Appropriate Behaviour Campaign. In this regard, it was further decided that 30 % of the total staff of every department/establishment, who are physically fit and healthy be deployed to assist the enforcement agencies as 'Covid-19 Executive Duty'

Therefore, in pursuance of the aforesaid meeting decision, all heads of department/heads of office are hereby further instructed to furnish the list of staff as mentioned above for deployment as 'Covid-19 Executive Duty' as per the enclosed pro-forma, in soft copy (MS Excel format) to their concerned Deputy Commissioner/Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority on or before 04:00 P.M of 23rd October, 2020 positively.
