Mamit 23rd, October 2020 : A consultative meeting was held today chaired by Mamit DC Dr.Lalrozama in his office chamber, regarding the execution of Covid-19 No Tolerance Fortnight to be observed from the 26th October - 9th November, 2020.

The Meeting decided to entrust Superintendent of Police, Mamit to deploy all Covid-19 executive duty personnel from various government department offices in the District to help the law enforcement agencies for effective implementation of the 'No Tolerance Fortnight'. It was decided that strict action be taken towards those persons who do not observe Covid -19 SOP directives like wearing of mask, maintaining docial distancing, organising public events, etc. Besides these, an Awareness Campaign through IEC and the Importance of hand washing and sanitization be inculcated among the masses. It was also decided that the guidelines from the State Level Meeting be observed during this Fortnight throughout the District
