The Deputy Chief Minister Mr Tawnluia inspected the on-going construction of Zodin Multilevel Car Parking cum Utility Centre building and discuss on the progress and further plan of action with the contractors. The Deputy Chief Minister was accompanied by Mr C Lalmuanpuia, MLA and Mr Zothantluanga, MLA.

The Dy Chief Minister pointed out that in order to address the present obstacle of insufficient car parking space and traffic congestion, the Mizoram Government is taking initiatives to construct multilevel car parking in various location in the city and Zodin Multilevel car parking is one of them.

Zodin Multilevel car parking is going to be the first fully automated car parking with utility centre equip with firefighting system, Automatic Fire Alarm system, Internal Electrification, 13 Passengers lift, Structural Glazing and Glass & Stainless steel works.

The work is estimated to cost Rs 2500 lakhs and will have nine (9) floors and designed to house 100 cars, Food courts, Exhibition and Multi-purpose hall.
