Aizawl, the 12th June, 2025: In conjunction with the observance of Green Mizoram Day 2025, which was held yesterday across Mizoram, the National AYUSH Mission, Directorate of Ayush, organised a tree plantation drive at the site where a 10-bed Integrated AYUSH Hospital is being constructed at Keifang. During the event,  about  80 saplings were planted. Led by Deputy Director Dr. S. Mara Thansiami, the Directorate of AYUSH staff collected various medicinal plant saplings and planted them within the premises of the upcoming hospital. Additionally, a Harit Yoga programme was held on the same day in preparation for the upcoming 'International Day of Yoga' on June 21. The aim of 'Harit Yoga' is to mitigate the deteriorating environment by promoting environmental conservation   through tree plantation, in conjunction with International Day of Yoga 2025.
