Mamit 13th April, 2021 : A District Level Committee on Covid-19 meeting was held today at the DC Conference Hall, Mamit under the Chairman/DC Dr. Lalrozama, IAS to discuss on preventive measures to fight againts Covid-19 2nd wave.

In the meeting it was reported that a total 5893 health care workers and frontline workers including 45 years of age and above beneficiaries were already innoculated 1st dose of Covid-19 vaccine and 1855 beneficiaries mentioned above were administered 2nd dose for the vaccination. Mamit District received 11980 total doses out of which 2810 doses are yet remaining with the medical staff as reported in the meeting by District Immunization Officer, Mamit.

The meeting decided to appoint Covid-19 Executive Officials to ensured proper enforcement of SOP as notified by the State Government. District SP Mamit was also entrusted to oversee proper implementation of the various orders promulgated by the DM/DC by making detailments of uniform personnel to carry out this orders so that people of District remain save from Covid-19 by strict adherance of SOP as provided by the District Authorities.

All VLTF are instructed to follow a uniform protocol during their duties to fight Covid-19 in their jurisdiction.
