Siaha; the 6th November,2020: District Level Consultative meeting was held, at DRDA DRDA Conference Hall, to deliberate upon Mapping of Science & Technology needs of the States/UT project for Siaha district, here at Siaha; today.

Shri.Kesavan R,IAS, Deputy Commissioner presided over the meeting.

Specially invited Head of Offices expounded in length their respective departments' profile in regard to Science & Technology under four broad points 1) Overview of the sector/Dept(Status, potential etc)
2) Issues, Gaps and challenges
3)Need for Research & Development
4) Possilities of Science & Technology Interventions.
This was followed suit by a thorough discussion by the members to enable the mapping of S&T needs of Siaha district and to find the possibilities of greater S&T intervention in different sectors for the over-all development and progress of Siaha district.

Today's meeting was attended and monitored by MISTIC's officials Shri. Joel Lalbiakkima, Scientific Officer, Shri. John L. Sailo,Technical Assistant and Shri. R. Vanneihtluanga, Techinical Assistant.
