Meeting in connection to District Task Force on Immunization was held in the DC Conference Hall, Mamit under the Chairmanship of Dr. Lalrozama, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Mamit.

In the meeting review of Health Care Workers Vaccination was presented by Dr. Lalmuanawma Jongte, District Immunization Officer. He reported that 692 (81.41%) Health Care Workers have been vacinated for the first dose in the District with no serious Adverse Effect Following Immunization (AEFI). Only about 5% of the vaccinated Health Care Workers experienced mild fever due to the vaccination he added.

Second dose for Health Care Workers Vaccination is under process and 700 doses have already been received in the District. 2050 doses for 1954 Frontline Workers as first dose is under process to be vaccinated during next week. All beneficairies to be vaccinated are requested to carry with them Aadhar Card to the Vaccination session site.

The meeting was attended by Pu R. Lalmuankima, State Consultant, UNICEF and members of District Task Force on Immunization.
