Lawngtlai, the 9th August, 2021: A meeting of District Level Task Force on COVID-19 (DLTF), Lawngtlai District was held today at DC's Conference Hall, Lawngtlai under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Chairman, DLTF Dr Andrew H. Vanlaldika.

Guidelines issued by the state government will be followed in Lawngtlai District upto midnight of 16.08.2021. The meeting discussed certain issues left to the decision of the District Level Committee by the guidelines.

The meeting decided to impose partial lockdown within Lawngtlai town during this period. All shops/stores (selling both essential and non-essential commodities) will be open every day except Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Vehicles shall ply within Lawngtlai town on the basis of odd-even registration numbers on alternate days. Night curfew will continue to be imposed every night from 7:00 p.m. in the evening upto 4:00 a.m. in the next morning.

Detailed guidelines to be implemented within Lawngtlai District will be issued by the Deputy Commissioner.
