A launching programme of Intensified Pulse Polio Immunisation (IPPI), Serchhip district is organised at Serchhip District Hospital’s ground this morning and Dr. Lalzirmawia Chhangte, IAS, Deputy Commissioner grace the function as chief guest and launch the programme for district level campaign.

In his launching speech Dr. Lalzirmawia Chhangte, IAS express his sincere thanks to the frontline workers for committing their efforts for the success of it. He also said that it is the responsibility of the beneficiary for the success of all government programmes such as IPPI and other vaccination programmes. He invites parents, leaders of the community and all local authority their cooperation for the success of this IPPI and tell them that it is far better prevent than cure after Polio infected in our body, family and community.

This launching programme is chaired by Dr. Laldawngliana Sailo, Chief Medical Officer and Dr. ZD Lalmuanawma, Medical Superintendent,  Dr. Lalhlunpuii, Immunization Officer, Media person, Medical staff, parents and their children attend the programme.
