The closing program of Government Champhai College Annual Week took place last friday at  College Multipurpose Hall which was graced by Dr ZR Thiamsanga,  Champhai North  MLA and  Vice Chairman Health & Family Welfare Board. 

Dr ZR Thiamsanga mentioned the works done by college in providing facilities and producing outstanding students and said that the college once again proved its status to the NAAC Peer assessment team by bestowing the College B++ accreditation. Regarding the prevailing requirements at the college particularly the shortage of lectures, Government is looking at every possible solution, he added.

Dr ZR Thiamsanga also advised the students to pursue the path of healthy lifestyle and refrain from drugs, alcohol and related addiction. He encouraged them to study hard and have a concrete ambitious mind to excel not only at state level competition but also at National level competition. He further added that he will be available for Students facing financial problem who are worth promoting and promising. He reiterated to the students that they are the future of the nation and asked them to focus on their studies.
