Kolasib 8th December 2020: Electoral Roll Observer for Kolasib District Mrs. Lalzarmawii, IAS, Secretary, AH&Vety department visited Kolasib district, inspecting the preparation of the Electoral roll revision with 1st January 2021 as the qualifying date.

The Electoral Roll Observer held talks with the Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, District Level Standing Committee members and Political Party representatives stating that Mizoram is among the states being recognized as a state where there is free and fair election, pointing out that it is possible only due to the collective efforts given by all the stakeholders.

According to the report presented by Mr. Vanlalchhuanawma Chawngthu, Election Officer, a total of 2377 forms have been received till 07.12.2020 as shown below;
