Dated Kolasib the 6th June 2025: The nationwide Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (VKSA) 2025 is making significant strides in Kolasib district, Mizoram, with a dedicated team from Agriculture and Allied departments spreading awareness to local farmers. This campaign, from May 29th to June 12th, 2025, focuses on empowering farmers to enhance production and double their income. Various departments—Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary, Fishery, and DRDO—are raising awareness about government schemes, while scientists from KVK and ICAR are lecturing on new technologies to boost yields.

The VKSA in Kolasib aims to significantly increase crop yields, enhance livestock, piggery, poultry, and egg production, and boost aquaculture. The Kolasib expert team has already covered 38 villages, reaching 4,555 farmers, demonstrating a strong commitment to widespread outreach and direct farmer engagement.
