Under the initiative taken by Farmers Society, Mualkhang Village, the farmers of Mualkhang have contributed their farm produces and handed over to Kolasib District Administration authority to be utilized in running the Quarantine Facilities of the district.

Lalfakzuala, President, Farmers Society, Mualkhang mentioned that they were eager to lend help to the Government in any way possible under the unfortunate circumstances arising due to the Covid-19 in the state. He also mentioned that there are currently 67 members in their farmers Society.

The donation included a Pick-up truck load of fresh vegetables and fruits, including mangoes, cucumber and tamarind.
