Kolasib dated 18th November 2022: FCS&CA Department Minister Mr. K. Lalrinliana today inspected the on-going construction of the 100-bedded District Hospital funded by NESIDS. The Minister was accompanied by Sr.EE, PWD Building Project-II, the Chief Medical Officer of Kolasib and M/S VRC Constructions (I) Pvt. Ltd., who are taking up the construction work.

The Minister urged all stakeholders, media and public to keep a close vigilance on the construction and material being used for the 100 bedded hospital, stating that any sort of negligence will not be tolerated. The District Hospital will have a parking area in the basement, a ground floor with 3 stories. It will also house a 13 capacity lift and the construction time frame is 24 months.
