Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Mr K Lalrinliana launched LPG Home Delivery Service today at Mizofed Ltd Show room, Ramhlun North, Aizawl in which numbers of consumer registered online to avail the LPG Home delivery service.

The FCS & CA Minister pointed out on the benefits of having a home delivery service for LPG like many other commodities to save time, money and effort and in turn, expressed his expectation that many youth will enroll in the system to get sustainable livelihood out of the LPG home delivery service as Delivery boy. Mr K Lalrinliana also thank the Mizofed Ltd, Mizoram Consumer Union, CYMA, College veng Local Council and other NGOs for their contribution and effort in making LPG Home delivery service available for public use.

The programme was chaired by Mr Laldawngliana, Chairman, Mizofed Ltd, Mr HL Rochungnunga, IAS, Commisioner & Secretary, FCS & CA addressed the gathering and Dr Lalhriatzuali Ralte, IAS, Director end the function with a vote of thanks.

LPG Home delivery service is being taken up as pilot project in College Veng, Aizawl covering 89 household. To avail this service a consumer must call Interactive Voice Response System number 9089024365, following the instruction he must enter his respective Agency phone number and his consumer number. Upon confirmation of his entry LPG delivery is expected within 4 days with a delivery charged of Rs. 90 per cylinder. The consumer can avail the delivery service again only after 21 days of his previous delivery.
