Aizawl, 20th June, 2022 : Pu K. Lalrinliana, Minister, FCS&CA today launched an online portal called e-daakhil to receive and address consumer complaints.

The Minister of FCS&CA said many facilities have been made available on the ‘e-Daakhil’ portal. The e-Daakhil is an online portal that allows consumers to file consumer complaints at their convenience, from anywhere, diminishing the requirement of their physical presence at the Consumer Commission. The speciality of this portal is that complaint fee can be directly paid through this portal. However, there is no complaint fee for those good and services whose value does not exceeds rupees five lakh. Additionally, it also allows for consumer commission to scrutinise these online submitted complaints and accept, reject and forward these to the concerned commission for further processing. As the e-daakhil has been integrated with the Common Service Centres, public from remote areas can also submit their complaints through this channel.

Pi Lallianmawii, SIO, CONFONET delivered the technical aspects of the system. Pu David Lalthantluanga, Secretary i/c Consumer Affairs, Pu K. Lalrohlua, Joint Secretary, FCS&CA, Pu V. Laldinsanga Registrar, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and representatives from Mizoram Consumers’ Union participated in the function. Moreover, Members of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission from other districts, DCSOs and staff from CONFONET also attended the launching function through virtual mode.
