FCS&CA Minister Pu K.Lalrinliana today inaugurated the Mizoram Basketball Association (MBBA) promotional tour at North Kolasib GSA Basketball Court.

At the inaugural function the Chief Guest commended on the efforts put in by Kolasib District Basketball Association (KDBBA) to host the MBBA Basketball Promotional Tournament and wished the tournament a grand success. The Minister said that the Government is putting in all efforts for promoting various game disciplines and highlighted that proposal for construction of Basketball Indoor Stadium near Tumpui GSA ground is in process.

Pu K.Lalrinliana urged the players to face the competition in the spirit of sportsmanship and wished all the teams/clubs to put in their best efforts.

The MBBA Basketball Promotional Tournament will host five clubs from Mizoram Super League, two clubs from Kolasib and one club each from Champhai, Lunglei and Mamit, the final Match is scheduled to be played on Saturday the 2nd November.
