Siaha, the 31st July, 2020 : Final E/Roll for By-Election to the 18-Siaha North-I MDC Constituency was published by Shri.Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS, District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner of Siaha district. He handed over a hard and soft copy each of the Electoral Roll to the representatives of various political parties.

Shri.Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS, DEO said that the purity of Electoral Rolla forms the bedrock of free and fair Election. He thanked all the officials, political party representatives and NGOs who worked tirelessly for the successful publication of the roll.

By-Election to the 18-Siaha North-I MDC Constituency was prompted by the untimely demise of the sitting MDC Shri. Ng. Silla(L).

The foresaid MDC constituency covers VC area of College Vaih -I & New Colony-III. Final E/Roll was prepared taking 01.01.2020 as qualifying date and in accordance with the Mara Autonomous District Council( Constitution, Conduct of Business,etc.) Rules,2002 as amended in 2011. In the Final E/Roll published today; there were 535 households and a total of 1627 voters; consisting of 716 male voters and 911 female voters within this MDC constituency. Of these 1627 voters, 967 voters belongs to 18/1-College Vaih-I and 660 voters belongs to 18/2-New Colony-III.

After thorough scrutiny on Claims & Objections (using Form SR-2& Form SR-3) was carried out, a total of 17 voters were added and 25 voters were deleted.
