Dr H Lalthlangliana, District Election Officer, Kolasib released the Final Publication of Village Council Electoral Roll 2020 today at DC Conference Hall. The function was attended by EROs, AEROs and representatives from political parties, media and various NGOs. The DEO presented a copy of the Final Publication of the Electoral roll to each representative from the political parties.

The Qualifying date of the Electoral roll was 01.01.2020. The Final list contains 29,435 male and 31,199 female with a total of 60,634 voters, which surpasses the 2015 Electoral Roll by 9,761, which is an increase of 16.09% in the numbers of Voters. Hortoki VC has the largest number of Voters with 2,777 and Saihapui V has the least at 171 voters.
