A sitting of the District Level Fire Prevention Committee, Kolasib District took place today at DC Conference Hall, discussing on the programs and conduct of Fire Prevention Week 2020 in the district.

The Committee decided to carry out the Fire Prevention Week from 10th to 15th February, 2020 where there will be an awareness program on fire prevention in various schools and establishment within the district. Fire prevention awareness will also be propagated through media, NGOs and PA system in every locality and award will be given to the best 3 villages on their performance on fire prevention.
