An inaugural function of Fire Prevention Week,2021 was held at MADC,Forest Hall,here in Siaha,today.
Shri.Kesavan R,IAS Deputy Commissioner and Chairman  District Level Fire Prevention Committee,Siaha  graced this function as Chief Guest.

Shri.Thaly T.Azyu,Conservator of Forest,MADC & Secretary DLFP Committee presided the function.

Speaking on the occassion, Chief guest stressed the importance of co-operation between Government's concern departments , NGOs and general public in the Fire preventive measures, and said '
almost all the wild Fire incidents were caused by mischivious act  or by accident of individuals.  As the benefits of having bountiful flora and fauna was enjoyed by one and all, the harsh impact of destroyed flora and fauna   by wild fire was also suffered by one and all. Therefore the Fire preventive measures must not taken up by  forest department alone, it  be  taken up by one and all, he quipped. He also implored the general public to strickly  abide  by the Government's order in regard to  Jhum burning scheduled dates  to avoid wild fire.
