It is with great happiness that I convey my congratulations to the Mizoram Football Team for winning the coveted Santosh Trophy Cup on 9th March 2014. This achievement has placed the State at a very high level in the national sporting scene and has amply demonstrated the power of the youth of Mizoram. The youth of Mizoram have proved their capability and I am confident that this will be a harbinger of many more such achievements in the future. The State has placed its trust in the youth of Mizoram and looks optimistically to fulfilment of its “Olympic Vision 2016.”
