Aizawl, the 2nd June 2023: Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati hosted a program to commemorate the Formation Day of Telangana at the Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, today. Telangana became a state on June 2, 2014.

The Program started with opening remarks from the Governor. After this, the audio and visual highlights of Telangana state through its history, rich culture and heritage were screened. This was followed by the interaction of the Governor with the special invitees from Telangana state who attended the program.

Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati, on this historic occasion, greeted and congratulated the people of Telangana state. He also pay homage to all those who had laid down their lives for this cause. He shared how sharing and celebrating other states’ formation days would help one another in familiarizing with others’ cultures and heritage. Most importantly, how it would strengthen India as a nation, unified in diversities. He strongly believed that observing other states’ formation by every state is a positive call made by the Ministry of Home Affairs, for national integration.
