Aizawl, the 31st March 2022: Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati called on Union Power Minister R.K. Singh at the latter's office chamber, yesterday in New Delhi.

Governor and the Union Minister discussed extensively regarding power shortage and other viable options to enhance power generation in the state. They also discussed the means for strengthening the Distribution network and encouraging Solar Projects.

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati further gave details on the huge potential of the state in generating electricity through Hydro Electricity. He also invited the Union Power Minister to Mizoram for reviewing the situation and take necessary steps for self-sufficiency in power generation within the state.
