Aizawl, the 15th February 2022: As a part of the ongoing celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 9 days long expedition of Northeast India - ‘North East on Wheels’ is to be held in the coming weeks. In this connection, representatives from the organizer – the Amazing Namaste Foundation met Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati to discuss the Mizoram segment of this expedition.
On hearing the purpose of the event and the details of the itinerary in Mizoram, Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati express his delights and wished the event a grand success. On behalf of the people and the state of Mizoram, he welcomed the participants as well as the organizers to the state. He also invites them to experience firsthand, the distinct culture, tradition, cuisines and all the things unique about the state during their segment in Mizoram.
In this interaction, Pu Atul Kulkarni, Member, Board of Governor, IIM Shillong & Chief Promoter, Amazing Namaste Foundation detailed the purpose of the expedition as a national integrating exercise to create positive vibes and also the orientation of our countrymen outside the NE region about its history and vibrant cultures on many tribes in this region. This expedition, he believed would be an invitation to experience the region and the people more closely.
During the 9 days long expedition - the ‘North East on Wheels’, the selected 75 Bikers from all parts of India will be travelling 1400 plus Km to tour all parts of the Northeast States.
