Aizawl, the 11th December 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’ today via Video Conferencing. Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati joined the launch and witnessed the address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the Video Conferencing Room, Raj Bhavan, Mizoram.

After the Virtual Launching Program was concluded, Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati discussed with the Vice Chancellors and Registrars of the Universities and Institutes in the state. During the discussion, the Governor shared his thoughts on the ambitious call of the Prime Minister to make India a developed country by the end of 2047 and how the youth of India are to be proactively involved as the agents of change and the beneficiaries of change. He discussed the strategies of how ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’ would be carried out in the state with the heads of the institutes who attended the meeting. He further advised the Vice Chancellors and the Registrars to have workshops with all the affiliated colleges and educational institutes under their respective universities.

Professor Dibakar Chandra Deka, Vice Chancellor, MZU, Prof Lal Nundanga, Registrar, MZU, Prof Bijay Singh, Vice Chancellor, ICFAI Mizoram, Dr David Lawmzuala, Registrar, ICFAI Mizoram and Prof Ajmal Koya Pulikkal, Registrar, NIT participated in the consultation meeting with the Governor on ‘Viksit Bharat @2047.
