Dated Aizawl, the 8th December, 2023: The newly appointed Chief Minister of Mizoram Mr. Lalduhoma, after assuming his charge one day before has formally joined to discharge his Chief Ministerial duties in his office, today. In this significant event, all the Council of Ministers in his cabinet were present. The members of his family, the representatives of the MPF, and the representatives of the Churches conglomerate in the state were also present to bless the occasion.

After being received at the CM Bungalow and escorted to the sections of the premises for inspection by the Commissioner & Secretary to the Chief Minister and staff, the new Chief Minister then proceed to the CM Secretariat and entered his office Chamber. His first assignment as the Chief Minister was to approve the Governor's Speech(For First Session of the new ly elected Mizoram Legislative Assembly) endorsed by the Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Mizoram.

In the last segment of his first day in the office, Pu Lalduhoma met and greeted his Council of Ministers and the top Officials of Mizoram at CM's Conference Hall.
