The newly appointed Governor of Mizoram Dr.Kamla Beniwal, on her third day in the state visits the MULCO Dairy Plant at Zuangtui owned and run by Mizoram Milk Producers' Cooperative Union Ltd.(MULCO) and also visits State Sericulture Complex at Zemabawk, later on. She also inspects Projects and works being implemented at these sites under the state flagship programme, New Land Use Policy(NLUP).

Speaking at the short official function made on her behalf at the Sericulture complex, the Governor express her satisfaction on the level of progress achieved at MULCO and Sericulture complex. At the same time she also encouraged the workers and everyone present at the function to try harder, work harder and aim higher to achieve even bigger success and said that there is always a room for improvement. Dr. Kamla Beniwal shares her past connections and involvement with the cooperation movements from a grassroot level to international level and backed the significance of hardwork and dedication to achieve success in cooperative societies and for its survival.

State Sericulture Minister Dr.B.D. Chakma, Secretary to Governor Shri. Manoj Kumar and Smt. C.Zothankhumi were among the officials that accompanied the Governor at MULCO production site at Zuangtui and Sericulture Complex at zemabawk. At present 850 members from 34 affiliated societies formed MULCO, which is the main distributor of milk and other milk products within Aizawl city and its surrounding area. The Sericulture Complex, later on visited by the Governor, houses the State Sericulture Traning Institute and Silk Reeling factory.
