Aizawl, the 25th February 2025: Under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, the Government of Mizoram declared the 12th March, 2025 (Wednesday) as Public Holiday for all Government Servants including employees under Central/State Public Undertakings, Educational Institutions and Banking Institutions within Chakma Autonomous District Council area in order to enable the voters to exercise their franchise in the forthcoming General Election to Village Councils under Chakma Autonomous District Council, 2025.
