Mamit 30th July, 2020 : Yesterday Deputy Commissioner of Mamit Dr. Lalrozama, IAS handed over Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Building West Phaileng to T. Thangropianga, Deputy Director of Labour Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department (LESD&ED) who took over the building on behalf of Secretary, LESD&ED, Govt.of Mizoram.

ITI Building W. Phaileng was constructed under Multi Sectoral Development Programme (MSDP). The Building was handed over to Mission Foundation Movement, Bawngkawn Aizawl for running special project on Skill Development Training under PMJVK2 (Pradhan Mantri Jan VikasKaryakram) for a term of 2 years w.e.f 23rd June, 2018. Consequent upon expiry of the term of 2 years ie,. 22nd June, 2020 the said ITI Building at W. Phaileng was taken over by DC, Mamit. Consequently the Building alongwith all inventories was handed over to Secretary, LESD&ED, Govt. of Mizoram on 29th July, 2020. Henceforth, the Deputy Commissioner, Mamit District will have no obligation and liabilities whatsoever on ITI Building at W. Phaileng.
