HDFC Bank has, today, donated various medical equipments comprising of Motorised ICU Bed - 5, Multi Para Monitor - 5, Suction Machine - 5, BiPAP Machine - 5, CPAP Machine - 5, Ventilator - 2, Median Transport Ventilator - 3  to Civil Hospital, Lunglei through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Fund.

Shri Rajnis Sarda, Cluster Head, HDFC Bank, Mizoram chaired the handover ceremony held at Civil Hospital Conference Hall in Lunglei today.

Shri Kulothungan A, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Lunglei District expressed his heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the people to HDFC Bank for their much needed intervention, and said that the donation was timely as the District still grapples with shortage of medical equipments, especially in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic which has wreaked havoc since 2020. He expressed hope that HDFC Bank would continue to contribute towards the development of Lunglei District though their various schemes.

Dr. SR. Ngurchamliana, Medical Superintendent, Civil Hospital, Lunglei, Shri Sunny Bargohain, Director, DRR and Capacity building, Doctors For You, Pi Lalhmingmawii, Area Head, HDFC Bank, Mizoram and other officials & invitees were present at today’s ceremony.
