Aizawl, the 25th May 2023: The provisional results of all the candidates of the State Medical & Technical Entrance Examination (SMATEE) 2023 conducted by the Mizoram State Council for Technical Education (MSCTE) on the 28th April 2023 are hereby published in order of merit irrespective of categories. The results are also posted on the website dhte.mizoram.gov.in Complaints, if any, should be submitted to the Joint Director(Technical), Technical Wing, H & T.E, Chaltlang Lily Veng within one week from the date of publication of the provisional results. Final results will be published after attending the complaints, if any.
The answer keys of SMATEE, 2023 was published vide N.A.45011/2/2021 - JDT(HTE) dated Aizawl the 8th May, 2023 and one week's time was given for complain. No complain was received within the given time.
The order of merit list has been prepared in such a way that if there are two or more candidates obtaining equal total marks then:
(a) Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology are ranked higher.
(b) In case marks obtained in Biology as mentioned in (a) are also equal, then candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry are used to determine the rank of the candidates.
(c) In case marks obtained in Biology and Chemistry as mentioned in (a) and (b) are also equal, then candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics are used to determine the rank of the candidates.
(d) If marks of candidates continue to be equal even after the application of (a), (b) and (c) above,, then candidates older in age are given preference.
(e) If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates will be given same rank.
The SMATEE answer sheets have been machine graded and as such no application for re-evaluation/re-checking shall be entertained. A provision for obtaining Photo copy of the answer sheets has been made for which the conditions laid down under clause 11 of the information brochure has to be fulfilled. The time of online choice filling will be notified at dhte.mizoram.gov.in
