16th January, 2025 : I, do hereby announce that the process of General Election to Village Councils, 2025 and Local Councils, 2025 started and the Model Code of Conduct has come into force within Village Council areas of Aizawl, Lunglei, Serchhip, Champhai, Mamit, Kolasib, Saitual, Khawzawl, Hnahthial District and also within Aizawl Municipal Corporation and Lunglei Municipal Council area from now till completion of the Election process i.e. 15th February, 2025. The Schedule of Election is as follows:
