The closing and award presentation ceremony for the CK Hyundai Inter Village Volleyball Tournament organised by the Mizoram Volleyball Association was held last night at R.Dengthuama Indoor Stadium, Aizawl. The Deputy Speaker of Mizoram Legislative Assembly, Er.Lalrinawma graced the function as Chief Guest.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest congratulated the Mizoram Volleyball Association for successfully organising an eight day event which saw participation from different parts of Mizoram. He said that owing to the development on various fronts, the State’s sporting scene too has grown by leaps and bounds. He urged the young people of Mizoram to always strive to be at the top in every single aspect of their lives.

52 men’s and 18 women’s volleyball team participated in the tournament held from 22nd to 30th October.
