Khawzawl, 22nd MArch, 2021: Observance of World Water Day 2021 took place at Khawzawl District today which was jointly organised by Khawzawl District Water and Sanitation Committee and KVK  Khawzawl. DWSC Chairman Pu Zothanmawia, DC Khawzawl graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The  theme for this year is 'Valuing Water'.

The observance was chaired by Pu Lalzakhama, EE & Member Secretary, DWSC. Pu Lalnunfela, SDO, PHE gave technical report throwing some lights on the achievements and plans on Jal Jeevan Mission implementation. Pu K.Lalnunsanga, President. Sub-Hqrs. YMA also gave report on intiatives taken up by YMA for conserving different sources of water.
