A meeting was held at DC Conference Hall, Kolasib under the Chairmanship of Sangchhin Chinzah, DC, Kolasib in pursuance of the notification issued under ‘The Government Land Pooling And Management Scheme’.

All Government Lands held by the Government Departments under the State excluding Boards, Corporations, State Public Sector Undertakings are hereby transferred to the State Level Government Land Authority under General Administration Department.

All department are hereby mandated to transfer all land documents to the State Level Government Land Authority under Administration Department on or before 7th February, 2020

If any of the Department have no land to be transferred to General Administration Department, they will submit written intimation to General Administration Department with a copy to Chief Secretary

Allotment of land will be on the basis of Right of Use for a specific purpose and for a definite period on such terms and condition as may be specified by the Government.

The District Level Government Land Authority shall have the authority to recommend the utilization of the Government Lands to State Level Government Land Authority and shall be responsible to safeguard and protect all the Government lands within their jurisdiction.
