Distribution and hands on training of ePOS (Electronic Point Of Scale) was conducted at I&PR conference hall today by district Civil Supply Officer’s Office Kolasib.

ePOS (Electronic Point of Sale) machine is a machine based on biometric registration which will be used for distribution of ration by retailers. The machine is expected to be used practically by all retailers in the district from February 2020. Digital Weighing machines was distributed to all retailers as well today.

The training inaugural function was chaired by HC Lallianzuala, DCSO Kolasib and training on ePOS Machine delivered by Lallawmawma from Vision-tech. 74 retailers in the district attended the training today.
