The Kolasib District Coordination Committee on NDD had a meeting today at Dr Hmingthanmawii, Chief Medical Officer, Kolasib district office, discussing on the role of various department of the district, system of reporting of the activities and achievement made during the program and methods of distributing anthelmintic albendazole to various schools and anganwadi centres, in preparation for the National Deworming Day 2020 which falls on 10th February.

Dr Hmingthanmawii pointed out that Kolasib district achieved 94.9% in the last August NDD from a target of 31,106 children. She urged the attending committee members to take much care and importance on proper reporting of achievements in their respective areas while carrying out the NDD program.

Kolasib district have set a target coverage of 34655 children for the February 2020 National Deworming Day program.
